Kerrin & Ken's Engagement Shoot

I met Kerrin and Ken at their amazing venue Layer Marney Tower on a very cold Sunday morning. I hadn't seen them for what felt like ages and their wedding is soon approaching us fast.
I was blown away by the beauty of their venue. I am absolutely spoilt for choice with shots at this place.
Kerrin and Ken are such good fun too and a great couple together.
I am so excited! There wedding will be amazing!

Beautiful Sunshine

I met Mel and her lovely family on such a beautiful day, it was perfect.
I wanted to do this shoot for Mel and her family as they have been through a really tough time. I really feel as a community and friend we should all look after each other in these times. I was so happy to be able to give these photos as a present to the family x

Winter Wonderland

I met Sam's large family at their Dairy farm and luckily for me we had just had a lot of snow!
It looked like we had chosen a foreign location instead of Suffolk and the snow looked amazing as we strolled out in our wellies trying to keep moving and warm.
Big groups like this a really good fun to shoot and a great way to get that rare chance to gather the family together.
I love their matching wellies!

Fun in the country

This is Natalie an actress who is currently studying for her degree and eager to get out into the big bad world and do what she loves! I hope these photos will help her folio.
The snow had melted and the sun was shinning it was perfect for us so we went to lots of different locations to explore what to do.
Natalie did so well and it made a nice change to be able to concentrate on one person and posing her perfectly. I am really proud of these photos and it makes me even more passionate about what I do.
There is nothing quite like shooting and getting excited about what your capturing!
Thanks Natalie it was such fun.

Aly & Leo's Snowy Session

I was so happy when it started snowing last week and couldn't wait to get outside and do a shoot.
Aly and little Leo who is only three met me at their local park in Ipswich, Suffolk.
We had such fun running around and having snowball fights, Leo did so well and didn't show that he felt the cold at all!
I really would love to shoot another before it all turns to mush so drop me an email if your interested katie_drouet@hotmail.co.uk it really looks so beautiful.

Seth & Phoebes first shoot

Hello everyone, sorry I have not been blogging a great deal. I have been doing lots of weddings meetings and organising for the year ahead!
So I was really looking forward to meeting Mel and her friend Catherine for a shoot as it feels like ages since I have had a chance to be creative.
So we all set off with little Seth and Phoebe and despite the cold we set off for a walk in the grounds were Mel lives. It was such a great location.
When the cold got to much we went back home and took some indoor shots too and warmed up.
Phoebe was the most smiley happy baby ever and Seth kept us entertained with these great expressions!

Seth deep in concentration, I pull this same face when I am editing!
